Learn about the history and traditional culture of Vietnam through historical sites, ancient street markets, and street food. Trekking through the forests, discover indigenous villages, learn about the unique customs and traditions, and enjoy the fresh, cool air. The tour promises to bring you unforgettable experiences about the pristine natural beauty, diverse culture, and wonderful moments of relaxation.
Day 1: Noi Bai Arrival – Hanoi Street food (D)
Recommend you choose a flight that arrive at noon. Good for checking hotel (2PM) and possible to join a street food tour afternoon.
1:00 PM: Driver picks you up from airport exit gate, he holds a sign with your name. Drive to hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.
2:00 PM: Check in hotel.
5:30 PM: Join street food tour.
Visiting Hanoi, you should never miss the BBQ pork with dry noodles (Bún Chả) which is famous even the President of America “Obama” and the late Antony Bourdain famously ate together. You probably won’t find Bun Cha in your country, but Bun Cha from Hanoi is one of our most famous dishes.
After that, you will try a Vietnamese Sandwich (Bánh Mỳ Thịt) which is appeared in Vietnam during French Colonialism, mazing French cuisine with Vietnamese.
Making your way down the Old Quarter, we will try Rolling Cake ( Bánh Cuốn) which is traditional food and popular food of Vietnamese
And the next dish of HANOI STREET FOOD TOUR is Sticky rice with sweet bean soup ( Xôi Chè). We shall enjoy a Mix Fruit salad (Hoa Quả Dầm).
Then have a short walk to the coffee shop, experiencing a very special coffee name Egg coffee ( Cà Phê Trứng) You can stay longer in a coffee shop and talk with our guide about Vietnamese culture if you so wish or we help you return to your hotel.
Rest of day free and leisure.
Day 2: Ninh Binh full day tour (B/L)
08.00 – 08.30 AM: Get picked up by our tour guide and bus at your addresses around Hanoi Center then depart for Ninh Binh City (100km south of Hanoi). Have a short break on the halfway
10.30 AM: On arrival at Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest one in Vietnam with 500 Buddha statues. You can see the biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight. The tour guide also gives you an introduction to beliefs and religions in Vietnam.
12.30 PM: Have lunch in a local restaurant with some special dishes such as goat meat, pork storage vessel….
1.30 PM: You will transfer to Trang An harbor, where you will take a boat trip for about 2 hours you will be surprised by the beauty of this landscape that seems like Halong Bay on land. The bamboo boat will take you through a much amazing cave. Besides that, you have chance to visit King Kong Island is a US blockbuster filmed in 2016 with many scenes in Vietnam’s landscape such as Ninh Binh, Halong Bay, Phong Nha Cave.
4.00 PM: Get back to the bus and then return to Hanoi.
6.30 PM: Back in Hanoi, you get dropped off at your address.
Day 3: Bus to Sapa (B/L/D)
06.30: Our guide will pick you up at the hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter departure to Sapa. The distance from Hanoi to Sapa is 345 km by expressway, so you only need about 5.5 hours to get to Sapa.
13.00: Arrive in Sapa town and meet the local guide at the bus station get to the hotel
13.30: Have lunch at the local restaurant then you will leave your big luggage in the hotel and prepare a light pack for your trek
14.30: A short drive to the gate of Cat Cat Village which is home to Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak.
15.30: And then walk down the village to see a beautiful waterfall and power plant built by the French during the colonial time in 1925. From here you will have 40 minutes to enjoy the performance shown by boys and girls from the village. Trekking distance is about 2.5 km and it lasts for 2 hours
17.00: Come back to Sapa Town
19.00: Have dinner at the hotel and free time visit Sapa town
Overnight in hotel.
Day 4: Trekking visit Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B/L)
7.00 – 8.00: Have breakfast at the hotel, check out the room, and prepare a light pack for trekking. (Big luggage keep in hotel store)
*12 km of trekking to visit 3 Villages with 2 different kinds of minorities.
9.00: Trek 12km down to Muong Hoa Valley. (It is the most beautiful Valley in Sapa where the Local Hill Tribes live and work on the Rice Field Terraces)
10.00: Trek downhill through Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai Villages on a small trail for 3,5 hours to a sleep mountainside where the terraced rice paddies of an ethnic minority group
11.00: You will learn about the unique customs of black H’mong people.
12.30: Having lunch at a local restaurant along with the Lao Chai village
13.30: After lunch, we will continue trekking along the bottom of the valley to get to Ta Van village of the Dzay people to experience their way of life while staying in a local family’s cottage
14.30: Bus will transfer you to the hotel and prepare luggage back to Hanoi
15.30: The guide transfer you to the bus station back to Hanoi
21.30: Arrive in Hanoi. Check in hotel in Hanoi.
Overnight in hotel.
Day 5 : Hanoi- Departure (B)
After breakfast, we drop you off at the airport, then you fly back home along with great memories.
