5D4N North (Hanoi – Halong – Ninh Binh) tour departing from Hanoi will take you to the most famous destinations in northern Vietnam, including Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam, the majestic Halong Bay, and Ninh Binh – an ancient land with breathtaking natural landscapes. This promises to be a journey filled with exciting experiences, discovery of the grand natural beauty, and gaining more knowledge about the diverse culture of the northern region of Vietnam.

Day 1: Noi Bai Arrival – Relax (N/A)

You fly to Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi), then we pick you up at the exit gate, to the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, free to rest and explore the nearby on your own. 

Note: If time permit we can add street food tour afternoon at 25 USD/pax.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B/L)

7.50 – 8.45: Pick you up at your hotel, We start the day off by visiting the ‘Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum’ the final resting place of the beloved Vietnamese hero, Uncle Ho (inside tours available). At about 10:30 am we will take a visit to the One Pillar Pagoda an ancient historic temple.

11.00: We shall visit the world-famous ‘Temple of Literature’ (constructed in 1070 – dedicated to Confucius, sages, and talented scholars). It is the most famous temple in Hanoi, also functioning as Vietnam’s first university and one of the first in the world!!!

12.30: We have lunch at a local restaurant with local Vietnamese food.

13.30: After lunch, we have 2 options for a visit

Option 1: Bat Trang ceramics & pottery village

(On Mondays – Wednesdays  – Fridays )

Option 2: Vietnam Museum of Ethnology

(On Tuesdays – Thursdays – Saturdays & Sundays)

15.00: Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda – was first built in Hanoi in the 6th century. You will see the oldest Bodha Tree in Vietnam planted by Ho Chi Minh.

15.45: Leaving for Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple where worships General Tran Hung Dao who defeated Mongolian invader in the 13th century.

16.15: Tour finishes. Back to the hotel.

Day 3: Halong Bay full day (B/L)

8.45 – 9.00: Our bus & Tour guide will pick you up at your hotel (Hanoi Old Quarter area) departure to Halong Bay, the bus will take by new expressway.

12.00: Arriving at Tuan Chau Island and get on the boat.

12.30: Have lunch with Vietnamese seafood be served on board by the crew while the boat will take you around the most beautiful areas of the bay with thousands of different islands such as Dog islet, Incense Burner islet, Fighting Cock Islet…

14.00: Visiting Surprising Cave one of the most beautiful Halong Bay to see a lot of stalagmites and stalagmites

15.00: Enjoy kayaking or bamboo boat rowing at Luon Cave area, a farther secretary of the bay.

15.30: Get on Titop Island where you will have a few options.

  Option 1: Hiking to the top of the mountain where you can take a panoramic view of Halong Bay.  

  Option 2: Swimming & relaxing on the beach.

16.45: Back to the cruise and join the sunset party on the sundeck fresh local fruit & wine or relax and make friends while cruising get back to the harbor.

17.45: Back to Tuan Chau harbor and get on the bus come back to Hanoi.

21.00: Arrive in Hanoi – drop you off at your hotel.

Day 4: Ninh Binh Full day (B/L)

08.00 – 08.30: Get picked up by our tour guide and bus at your addresses around Hanoi Center then depart for Ninh Binh City (100km south of Hanoi). Have a short break on the halfway

10:30: on arrival at Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest one in Vietnam with 500 Buddha statues. You can see the biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight. The tour guide also gives you an introduction to beliefs and religions in Vietnam.

12.30: Have lunch in a local restaurant with some special dishes such as goat meat, pork storage vessel….

13.30: You will transfer to Trang An harbor, where you will take a boat trip for about 2 hours you will be surprised by the beauty of this landscape that seems like Halong Bay on land. The bamboo boat will take you through a much amazing cave. Besides that, you have chance to visit King Kong Island is a US blockbuster filmed in 2016 with many scenes in Vietnam’s landscape such as Ninh Binh, Halong Bay, Phong Nha Cave

16.00: Get back to the bus and then return to Hanoi.

18.30: Back in Hanoi, you get dropped off at your address.

Day 5: Hanoi – Departure (B)

After breakfast, be free until we drop you off to the airport, then you fly back home along with great memories.
