The 6-day 5-night Hanoi – Sapa – Halong Bay tour offers an exceptional opportunity to explore the cultural and natural wonders of Northern Vietnam. The journey begins in vibrant Hanoi, followed by a visit to the stunning mountain town of Sapa, known for its terraced rice fields and ethnic minority villages. The tour culminates with a magical cruise through the awe-inspiring landscapes of Halong Bay. Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Hanoi City Tour (L, D)

Welcome you to Vietnam! Welcome you to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, is considered as a blend between the traditional and the modern beauties.

At Hanoi International Airport you will be greeted at 12pm by our guide and transfer to your hotel in Hanoi. Lunch at the restaurant

Then start visiting the Temple of Literature (or you might choose one of the museums in Hanoi – Hilton Hanoi, Military museum, Museum of History..), Continue drive to Hoan Kiem Lake and the French Quarter (Old Quarter Hanoi), visit Ngoc Son Temple, The Huc Bridge …(if the time permited)

Take the sleeping train directly to Lao Cai ( about 8:30pm – 5:00am)

Day 2 : Lao Cai – Sapa – Cat Cat Village – Sapa (B)

The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station (about 06:00 am). There will be a vehicle waiting to transfer us to Sapa. Driving to Sapa is only 38 km but it takes around one hour to make our way up the mountains. Once at Sapa, we will check into the hotel (if the room is available – check in time after 12:00pm). After freshening up and having breakfast we are ready to explore Sapa town. We embark on a lovely walking tour to the hill tribe village of Cat Cat, home of the H’Mong hill tribe minority people. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with families that live in the area.

Overnight in Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa – Lao Cai (B, L, D)

Breakfast in the hotel. Then, embark on a lovely trek that will take us along buffalo paths and trails and through several hills tribe villages Lao Chai & Ta Van, home to Black H’mong, and Dzay people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Once on the valley floor you can really appreciate the wonderful scenery that surrounds you. The walls of the valley are covered with multi-layered rice terraced fields and scattered villages. Return to Sapa and then to Lao Cai railway station by car. The guide sees you off there and takes you on the train.

6:00pm: Enjoy dinner at the restaurant.

Free until taking the train at 9:00pm back to Hanoi ( overnight on Sleeping Train) (8:30pm – 5:00am)

Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Bai Tu Long Bay (B, L, D)

The guide will pick you up from Trainstation to the restaurant for Breakfast

07:45am – 08:30am: Transfer to Halong Bay from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (for those who use our shuttle bus, car)

12:30pm: Arriving Hon Gai Harbor, Ha Long City. Transfer to Cristina Diamond Cruises by tender

12:45pm: Enjoy welcome drink then check in your cabin

1:30pm: Cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay & having Buffet lunch

3:30pm: Exploring Vung Vieng Fishing Village: Guest choose to discover the daily life of the fisher communities by bamboo boat (one hour) or kayaking around Vung Vieng area (one hour)

4:30pm: Swimming & Sunbathing at Ban Chan Beach

5:30pm: Relax and enjoy the sunset party with Happy Hour (from 5h30pm- 7h30pm) while the boat is cruising to Cong Dong-Cong Do area to anchor for overnight

6:00pm: Taking part in the cooking class: Learning how to cook traditional Vietnamese Cuisines

7:30pm: Having dinner

9:00pm: Free evening to join some activities of board games or squid fishing, karaoke (on request) Taste the variety of drink at our luxury sundeck bar (chargeable) with wines, cocktails, brandy, juices…

Day 5: Bai Tu Long Bay – Hanoi (B, L)

06.30am: Wake up early in the morning for Tai Chi exercise

07.00am: Having buffet breakfast

07.45am: Visit Thien Canh Son Cave

09.30am: Checking-out and relaxing on sundeck or watching fruits carving demonstration.

10.30am: Enjoy the last scenery of the Ha Long Bay over lunch (a la carte) when the boat cruises back to shore.

12.00pm: Transfer back to Hanoi.

4.00 – 5.00pm: Return Hanoi. Free dinner as your leisure

Day 6: Hanoi – Departure (B)

Breakfast at your hotel

Relaxing until the time for transfer to Noi Bai airport taking your flight back home.
