AM: 08:00-08:30: Our guide & driver pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Then visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Admire the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. The next door is Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house. Lying on the one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda; founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. The structure of this pagoda has become an important symbol of Hanoi. Continue to visit the Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist – dating from the Ly Dynasty) and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake (One of the oldest lake in Vietnam).  Have lunch.

PM: After lunch, continue to visit the Temple of Literature and Quoc Tu Giam which was the Vietnam’s first university constructed in 1070, its gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a fleeting glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Visit Bat Trang pottery village on Monday, Wendnesday, Friday. Visit Vietnam Museum of Ethnology on Tuesday, Thusday, Sat and Sunday. After that, we take you to Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters and visit Ngoc Son temple. Tour ends around at 15:30-16:00.

  • Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum close on Monday and Friday morning.
  • The itinerary can be changed due to weather, tide levels and operating conditions.
  • Special request (diet or vegetarian …) should be sent before your departure date.
  • Water Puppets show for Deluxe option only, a traditional performance that dates back as far as the 11th century in the villages of the Red River Delta area of Northern Vietnam. Then the tour will finish around 16h30 – 17h00.
  • Bat Trang pottery village will be visited on Mon, Wed & Fri (without Ethnology Museum). Ethnology Museum will be visited on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat (without Bat Trang pottery village).
