Embark on a journey to explore the renowned destinations of northern Vietnam – Hoa Lu and Tam Coc. In Hoa Lu, you will admire the ancient historical relics, including the Temples of King Dinh and King Le. The itinerary will then take you to Tam Coc, a stunning natural landscape with winding rivers flowing between the majestic limestone mountains. Aboard a sampan boat, you will be able to admire the picturesque scenery and discover the mysterious caves. This is a unique travel experience that combines historical sites and the natural beauty of the northern region.
8:00 – 8:30: Diver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old quarter and transfer to Hoa Lu (about 2 hours).
10:30: You will arrive at the historic capital – Hoa Lu.
Two temples, one honoring Dinh King and the honoring Le King, are situated atop the former royal palace in Hoa Lu. You have an opportunity to learn more about some of Vietnam’s historical periods and feudal dynasties during the visit.
12:00: Get on the bus. Go to the local restaurant in Tam Coc for traditional lunch
13:30: Bus go to Tam Coc wharf, board a private sampan to enjoy a rowing boat ride along the Ngo Dong river, passing through three of Tam Coc’s most well-known caves (Hang Ca, Hang Hai and Hang Ba). You can choose to ride a bicycle through charming villages after visiting Tam Coc.
16:00: Get on the bus return to Hanoi
18:00: Arrive Hanoi old quarter, drop you off at your hotel.
